Hace unas semanas Sam Smith se subía al escenario de los Grammys para recoger sus gramófonos a “Canción Del Año” y “Grabación del año” por “Stay With Me”. A su lado estaba William Phillips, uno de los co-autores del tema, conocido también por el nombre de Tourist, su alter-ego. Porque a pesar de su faceta como compositor de power-ballads y temas más pop (también figura en los créditos de “Pieces” de Jessie Ware o “Home” de Leah McFall), su verdadera pasión es la música electrónica. El joven británico que empezó su carrera subiendo remixes a su perfil de MySpace, lanzó el pasado año su primer EP y actualmente se encuentra preparando su álbum debut, “U”, que espera ver la luz este verano, y en el que encontraremos temas como “Illuminate” con Years & Years, “Patterns” con Lianne La Havas, y su nuevo single “Holding On” junto a Josef Salvat y Niia que ya podemos escuchar.
